Personality: Confident in some situations. In others not so confident. Is more comfortable around people she knows.
Background: Mary Jane grew up in an abusive household. Her father was the abusive one while she was growing up so she took on the persona of being a party girl. She wanted to hide behind a mask and to avoid the embarrassment of admitting who her father was.

She met Peter Parker through her Aunt Anna. She was dating the school bully at the time, Flash Thompson. They later broke up at their high school grad ceremony. She was always in love with Peter Parker then later Spider-Man even though she tried to fight it and just plain ignore it.

After the break-up with Flash, Mary Jane begans to pursue a career in acting but then when she is rejected at an audtion. She starts to secretly waitress at a diner.

Harry Osborn is her first boyfriend after high school but it is Peter and his alter-ego Spider-Man who has captured her heart. After saving her from a pack of thugs, Spider-Man and Mary Jane share a passionate kiss as he hangs suspended above her in the middle of a rainstorm. From then on she denys Harry's advances after growing distant from him. Harry angerily breaks up with her after he witnesses her and Peter holding hands in Aunt May's hospital room.

Norman Osborn kidnaps Mary Jane and hold her over the Queensboro Bridge. He tells Spider-Man he has to make a choice, Mary Jane or the children in the tram car. Spider-Man manages to save both.

The kiss she shared with Peter and the one she shared with Spider-Man connect in her mind so that she figures out that they are one and the same.

She wants to start a relationship with Peter but he shies away from it because he fears for her safety. She is hurt. She goes on to have a relationship with John Jameson, J. Jonah Jameson's son.

On the day she was to marry him, she leaves him at the alter and goes to Peter. She tells him she loves him. She wants to start a relationship with him.

Harry dies in the arms of Mary Jane with Peter there, too. This was after they defeated Venom. Mary Jane and Peter go on to renew their relationship after Harry's funeral.

Example Post: Mary Jane sat out on the roof, staring out into the night sky. It was two days after Harry died from his injuries. She couldn't believe it still. He died right in her arms. RIght in her arms. She shook her head and turned towards the window as she spotted Peter moving around inside the apartment. He would probably be leaving soon, dressed as Spider-Man. She laughed softly to herself. She couldn't help it. She then glanced at her ring. A ring that belonged to his Aunt May. Would their relationship be able to get to what it was? To what it should be? To what she wanted it to be? Did she really belong here? Sometimes she thought she did but then there were the times it just plain felt weird. She was in love with Peter Parker. She was also in love with Spider-Man. "Oh, Tiger." She murmured as she stood up from her spot and pushed the window back open so she could climb inside.

"MJ." Peter's lips curved up into a suprised smile when she crawled into the room and stood up. She was wearing one of his shirts and her red hair was wild. Her green eyes glittering from the bedside lamp.

"Getting ready to go fight crime, Tiger?" She asked teasingly as she walked towards him.

"You know I am." He answered, wrapping his arms around her waist as he bent his head down to brush his lips over hers.

Plans: Get her away from being...I don't know a flake? I seriously don't like the way she was portrayed in the movies. I like her and Peter though. I want to try to get her closer to her comic book counterpart.
